2022 Hillsdale Recreation Winter Indoor Soccer  (1st through 8th Grade)

*Registration is only open from November 11-November 27, 2021. There will be no late registrations allowed and no exceptions.*

PLEASE review the following information carefully. Registering your child for indoor soccer is a commitment for both the child as a player on a team, and for you as parents. Please consider your child’s availability/motivation to play, and any other commitments over the winter season before registering.

PLEASE NOTE: You will receive a 'waitlist' message when you register. Since we're waiting to determine how much interest we have until we can create teams, the registration system automatically puts all registrants on a 'waitlist'. The HSA will not charge a registration fee during registration.  The HSA will charge only once we finalize which/how many teams we will be offering after registration is complete.

The Hillsdale Soccer Association has been invited to play in the Northern Valley Soccer League (NVSL). The NVSL has been an alternative Indoor Soccer program that has existed for over 15 years. The League functions differently in many ways than the PVISL, which has been disbanded.

  • NVSL leagues for 1st/2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th grades.

  • Games will take place on Sunday afternoons starting the second weekend of January, and the season will end towards the end of March.

  • Each team will be scheduled to play 7 or 8 games, there are no makeup games, and every team makes the playoffs.

  • Hillsdale practices, pending gym availability, take place at night during various dates and times during the week in Hillsdale.

  • This is a recreation league. There are no tryouts, and the program is open to all Hillsdale residents. If there are enough kids for more than one team in a grade/gender level, equal teams (talent wise) will be created. This is a requirement of the NVSL. There will be no requests honored to play with friends, and this is not negotiable.

  • We are not able to guarantee that all players that register will have a team to play on this winter. We have to gauge interest/demand for the program across the various grade levels and genders, and there will need to be enough qualified (i.e.- all coach compliance items have been met) coaches available. There could be different number of teams at each grade/gender level, and there could be levels in which Hillsdale does not offer a team.

  • Uniforms will be pinnies that will be provided by the HSA.
