
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
All safety requirements must be successfully completed to coach, assistant coach or volunteer for any and all sports supported by the Borough of Hillsdale, NJ; including:
1. Fingerprinting and criminal background check (valid for 3 years)
2. Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. training (good for life)
3. Concussion training (completed, then reviewed annually)
4. Hold Harmless (completed during online registration)
5. Coaches Code of Conduct & Ethics Agreement (completed during online registration)
6. Lightning Safety Policy (completed during online registration)
7. COVID Form (completed during online registration)

IMPORTANT: The best approach is to always KEEP and SAVE a copy of everything for yourself first but then copies of items # 1, 2 and 3 above together in one email to: Eileen McLaughlin at emclaughlin@hillsdalenj.org so the town has a copy AND to coaches@hillsdalesoccer.com so the HSA has a copy as well.
If you have questions, please email coaches@hillsdalesoccer.com. In the busy season of sports the finger printing appointments could take up to 2 weeks, so email early to get this completed before the sports season begins.
